Exciting Announcements and News from the Week

Thanks to all that voted on the newsletter Monday. The vast majority selected Saturday, August 1st. I am excited to host some of you again this month. As a reminder for those of you that are new, we plan to host these bottle shares every month or so, and if you can't make it to this one, no worries there will be more.

I am also trying a new format for the newsletter this week. Let me know what you think of it. I am going to release a general update and bourbon news brief on Tuesday's going forward, and then on Friday one like this that recaps the week and talks about what is coming up.

Bottle Share - 8/1

You're invited to a ZBar Bottle Share — Saturday, August 1st, 7pm. This one's for ZBar email subscribers only, and I'm keeping it small — just 10 spots this time, so it stays a real conversation instead of a crowd. Free to attend. Bring a bottle of something you've been enjoying lately — that's the whole point of a bottle share. We're going live on YouTube at 8pm during the event if you want to join the conversation on camera — totally optional either way.

New Picks Arrived

1792 Full Proof — our own barrel pick — review is live now. This one's ours from start to finish, and I'm proud of how it turned out. If you haven't watched it yet, it's up on the channel right now. Bottles are available for sale at Barrel Proof here is Fort Wayne. If you are out of Fort Wayne, send me an email (zbarbourbon@gmail.com) and I will try to get you one.

Green River Wheated Hoffman's Pick - The bottles are in and I am picking up on Sunday. For those of you that said you wanted one, I am will be reaching out early next week. If you missed the first link, click link below to get on the list for one.

Two Brand-New Barrel Picks SELECTED

Two brand-new barrel picks just got selected: Knob Creek picked at an Indiana University event and Blue Note picked via kit at Barrel Proof. Both got picked this week, joining Augusta Wheated, Larceny, Larrikin American Light, and a many others already in the pipeline. Busy season for the barrel program — more details on each as they get closer to arriving (Likely 4Q26).

Bourbon Fest Update

314 tickets sold, 23 distilleries committed — and early bird pricing ends July 31. That's two weeks out. If you've been on the fence, now's the time. Keep an eye out this weekend — we're releasing a short hype videos with more distillery sponsors revealed.

📅 Heads up: no livestream this weekend — next one's Tuesday 7/22 on TikTok, covering industry news and our new Green River Wheated barrel. Mark your calendar.
